What this site does not do
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no tracking pixels, embeds no third-party content and loads no fonts, scripts or styles from third parties. It contains no JavaScript. Every file it serves comes from its own address.
Hosting and server logs
The site is delivered by Scaleway SAS, Paris, France, from data centres in the European Union. When you open a page, the provider’s servers record connection data in log files: your IP address, the time, the requested address, the amount of data transferred and your browser’s identification. This is necessary to deliver the site and to detect abuse. The logs are kept in the provider’s monitoring service for 7 days and then deleted. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
Contact by e-mail
When you write to us, we process the data you send in order to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Retention: until the matter is settled, at most 12 months.
Our e-mail is operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland (Microsoft 365). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft. Where Microsoft processes data outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses in that agreement.
Your rights

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us, the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).
